Die Repair
- Our repairs involve:
- Visual and disassembled inspection of the die, fasteners and springs to determine what caused the breakage or excessive wear
- Clean all debris such as slugs, slivers and lubricant buildup from the dies
- Look for dulled, chipped, or cracked die sections and replace as needed
- Weld and re-cut die cast cavities and any other parts, as needed
- Build and/or re-build machining fixtures and machine centers as needed
- Regrind and fit as necessary
- Replace all broken springs and fasteners as needed
