- Disassembly of gearbox and damage analysis
- Components repaired or new parts installed (as needed) to meet and often exceed the OEM design. New bearings and seals are installed
- Bearing and gear clearance are adjusted and contact patterns are recorded. Gear-cutting done (as needed)
- Machine teeth built up to OEM specs and to extend gear life
- Reband gear as needed
- Shaft repairs
- Gearbox reassembled and tested
